Having won the Merseyrail Sound Station Prize in November last years ASTLES has not spent any time resting on his laurels. The Southport teenager has spent 2017 recording his debut EP, collaborating with various artists and appearing at several festivals.

He was also named One To Watch in the years LIMF Academy intake and appeared as part of the city’s Sgt Pepper at 50 celebrations. Rounding off the year in the same vein, Astles will be launching his second EP, Full Of Wonder, at a special gig at District on 22nd November.

With support from exciting new artists SPXKEN and JOSEPH MOTT, the show will unveil Astles evolution from acoustic balladeer to the latest stage in his fledgling.

While his EP Live At The Nordic was recorded in one session on his own with producer Michael Johnson, Full Of Wonder has been recorded with various producers and sees Astles graduate from a solo performer to part of a band set-up.
