Sound Station at LIMF 2016

To ensure your day at LIMF Summer Jam starts the right way, we will be pitching up the yellow marquee at St Michaels Station to present a host of up and coming musicians who will be greeting festival goers off the train. A variety of acts will be performing in front of the station getting people in the mood for one of the city’s biggest music events.

We are also celebrating LIMF on this months podcast with a session from LIMF Academy most ready act L U M E N, listen here.

LIMF Summer Jam takes place at Sefton Park on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July with the likes of Sigma, Lianne La Havas and The Wombats playing on the main stage and a wealth of fantastic local talent playing around the park.

On Saturday Merseyrail Sound Station presents THE SHIPBUILDERS in the park. Last year the Liverpudlian indie rockers graced the Sound Station Festival stage at Moorfields. Lead singer Matthew McLoughlin will be opening the LIMF Academy Stage just after midday on Saturday with a solo performance.  Also on the bill in the park are past Sound Station Podcast guests Eleanor Nelly, Deliah and Black Mountain Lights.
